I Don’t Want to Do Anything K-drama Teaser Talk

This is such a rare concept and title for a K-drama. And it is very beautifully showcased in the teaser of the upcoming K-drama I Don’t Want to Do Anything. One might think this might be about lazy human beings but the teaser gives out a very lively, soulful vibe.

From the teaser, it is evident that this is a multi-character plot. The concept is definitely not about laziness but about self-discovery and fulfillment. There is something really beautiful about the solitude the four characters are in, in the teaser of the drama.

We see these four characters in different locations, but surrounded with natural greenery and purity with each of their voiceover going, “I don’t want to do anything.” We get instantly hooked by how beautiful the space of these characters are even when they are by themselves.

I Don’t Want to Do Anything is directed by Lee Yoon-Jung, who has previously directed popular K-dramas like Cheese in the Trap. One thing I loved about that series is how individually unique each character and their thoughts were. Here, in I Don’t Want to Do Anything, that aspect seems certain. And looks like it will be less darker and more mellow than Cheese in the Trap.

I Don’t Want to Do Anything stars Seol Hyun, Im Si-Wan, Shin Eun-Soo and Bang Jae-Min as the main cast. It is an adaptation of the web-comic Amugeotdo Hago Sibji Adda. If the makers can keep the same feel of the teaser in the drama, this will be one hell of a series to watch.
