Netflix’s Japanese series, First Love, has a very unique trailer with a song running throughout its beautiful visuals. It is inspired by the songs “First Love” (1999) and “Hatsukoi” (2018) by Utada Hikaru.
First love stars Mitsushima Hikari and Satoh Takeru in lead roles.
Kanchiku Yuri is the director and screenwriter of the series.
The song is about loss and the pain of first love which is irrevocable. It talks about the way she learned about love and how that will stay with her forever. Hikaru Utaka’s lyrics are exquisite and hits right through your heart. A series inspired by this phenomenal song has really high expectations.
And judging from the trailer, we can surely say that this will be one heck of a love story. The romance, the soul and the essence of the song are brilliantly captured in the trailer. The visuals look like a love song. This could quench our thirst for good love stories because we have not had one in a really long time.
First Love will release on Netflix on November 24.
