Roomates of Poongduck 304 Ep 1 Review

The latest Korean BL Roommates of Poongduck 304 ‘s ep 1 left me disappointed as the makers are trying to offer nothing new to the audience. The storyline, direction and performances failed to make an impact on the viewers in the first episode itself. Although the first episode is only 28 minutes, it felt like almost 2 hours.

Ji Ho Jun, the heir of a wealthy business family is searching for a room to live. The only thing that concerns him while choosing the room is the pressure of water in the bathroom shower. He rejects many rooms that the real estate agent has offered just because the water pressure was not right.

Seo Jae Yoon is a temporary employee in a big company hoping to become a permanent employee soon. He has a villa and he is looking for a roommate. When ji Hu Jun visits his villa, he was not there. Seo Jae Yoon’s friend accepts the deposit and rent and escapes with it. When Seo Jae Yoon returns home, he gets surprised by seeing his new roomie. They started not liking each other in the first meeting itself.

Seo Jae Yoon gets selected into a team which has the lowest reputation in the company. He gets irritated as his future starts falling apart. Little did he know that Ji Ho Jun is appointed as the new team leader of the team. The first episode ends when he sees his tenant as his team leader. The only scene that awoke my interest in the first episode is solely this one.

I am not sure if I am interested in knowing what will happen between the two of them as it is already a given. But I would like to see if any chemistry will be there between the two actors which is worth watching.
