Directed by K Chainarong Tampong , Thai drama Wednesday Club is one of the most anticipated dramas by GMM 25 in 2023. He has directed many popular series including Fanhlanruk, Club Friday 14: Love and Belief etc.

Wednesday Club is about a bunch of young people who decide to be friends when they are brought together by destiny. Their friendship is not immune of lies and betrayal. They call themselves middle children, a group of people who are overlooked by others. They are not what they appears to be. All the characters seem to be layered. They have their secrets, their boundaries that they do not want others to cross. The drama seems to be dark with violence and guns. There is also budding romance amidst the chaos.

The trailer begins with them playing the game ‘spin the bottle” except that they are playing it using a gun. In the first scene of the trailer, Ohm asks one of the friends what he would choose between friends and justice. This dialogue gives us a gist of what the series is going to be. Wednesday Club might be darker than we anticipate. The middle children ask themselves if they are friends because they wanted to be or because no one else wanted them.

The cast includes excellent actors, Ohm Pawat Chittsawangdee, Nani Hirunkit Changkham, Jane Ramida Jiranorraphat, Piploy Kanyarat Ruangrung, Joong Archen Aydin, Kay Lertsittichai and Phuwin Tangsakyuen.

Apart from the story and intriguing trailer, the amazing cast convinces the audience to watch this drama. I would recommend everyone to watch the Thai drama Wednesday Club.
