Thai series Midnight Museum is a horror thriller about a haunted museum. The Midnght Museum opens only after sunset. It stores several cursed artefacts collected over years. The series Midnight Museum is written by Game Kirati Kumsat & Chalermpong Udomsilp and directed by Noom Atthaporn Teemakorn.
The first episode begins with an old man running with a haunted typewriter which works by itself. He reaches the museum and leaves the typewriter there and runs away. A man called Mr Khatha owns this museum. Gun plays Dome, a café boy who lost his job as the café closes down. Khatha offers him a job at the midnight museum. The events took an unexpected turn after Dome enters the museum.
Midnight Museum’s first episode is intriguing and grabs the full attention of the viewer. When the first episode ends, the midnight museum has turned upside down. Dome’s colleague Jib and his friends rob the museum at night. They took many haunted objects with them. Dome takes responsibility for this. He takes it as a mission to set things right. In the coming episodes, the audience might come across the extraordinary powers of Dome. There is a lot more to unravel about the backstory of Khatha, Dome and the midnight museum. The making is amazing as it brings the audience into the haunted world of the midnight museum. I also loved the cinematography.
I loved the casting. The cast includes many of the excellent actors of GMMTV. It is always a delight to watch Gun Attaphan Phunsawat onscreen. Foei Patara Eksangkul is also one of my favourite actors. Apart from them the cast also consists of Tor Thanapob Leeratanakachorn, Saiparn Apinya Sakuljaroensuk, Namtan Tipnaree Weerawatnodom and Ployphach Phatchatorn Thanawat.
Overall, the first episode does lure us to watch the rest of the series. I would recommend you all give this series a try.
