My Opinion

I have kind of a mixed opinion about Blacklist. The series had a good plot and storyline, but I think the screenplay faltered at many points. Many things were going on in the series, leaving the audience confused about the focus of the story. The writers touch on many topics like bullying, drug dealing, human trafficking, child abuse, gangsters and more, but in the end, none of them seemed to be dealt with properly. They do not go into the depths of any of these topics. There were many loopholes in the series, especially about the missing of Fah. There were no explanations of how she escaped from where she was kept captured.

The Cast

The only thing that kept me watching till the end is the cast of the series. Blacklist has a stellar cast including Nanon Korapat Kirdpan, Ohm Pawat Chittsawangdee, Chimon Wachirawit Ruangwiwat, First Kanaphan Puitrakul, Drake Sattabut Laedeke and Frank Thanatsaran Samthonglai. The supporting cast is also as good as the main cast. But I don’t think, the directors made use of the full potential of the cast. Most of the characters were not well written, which affected their performance.

There were many interesting scenes and twists in the series. But I think the series could have been made better. Overall, Blacklist is watchable. It might not reach your expectations but is not too bad either.
