JTBC’s new fantasy drama Reborn Rich’s trailer has Song Joong-ki, Shin Hyun-been and Lee Sung Min introducing the series. The actors talk in undertones, intriguing you, in the 1:17 minutes long trailer. Its subtle underplay catches your attention and curiosity. Reborn Rich has a well written trailer and is directed by Jeong Dae Yun who has previously directed K-dramas like W.
The three actors narrate the storyline and asks a rhetorical question at the end; whether being reborn as a rich person is a blessing or another nightmare? The protagonist is obviously someone seeking vengeance for his past life. Reborn Rich is adapted from the web drama, The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate.
The story is about a the loyal employee of a company who is accused of embezzlement and murdered by his employers. He is reborn as the youngest son of the same wealthy family who killed him. How far would he go as part of his revenge motive, forms the basic premise of the drama.
The actors are something to look forward to; This is Shin Hyun-been’s second drama after her impressive performance as Jang Gyeo-wool in Hospital playlist. And Song Joong-ki of course after Vincenzo.
Reborn Rich has its premier next month on JTBC and Viu.
