PS I Hate You is Mind Boggling

What would you do if your closest friend is your worst enemy? PS I Hate you is all about hatred, revenge and betrayal. The title PS I Hate You, says all about the series: I might be your friend but PS I hate you. Everybody betrays one another in the name of revenge or for their own survival. Nobody loves the other person more than they love themselves. When your survival is at stake, you wouldn’t think twice before betraying your closest person. This is the concept of PS I Hate You.

Good Aspects

PS I Hate You is a Thai series released in 2022 written by Baison Jinatcha Maneesriwong. The strongest point of the series is its screenplay. The back and forth narration of the story catches our attention every single moment. The making of the series is brilliant. I would say certain scenes totally amazed me. I loved the scene in which Meen confronts Wanwan about her affair with Meen’s boyfriend. I also loved the scene in which Wanwan kills her mother.

Another strong aspect of the series is the cast. The best performance among the cast was that of Pat Chayanit Chansangavej who played the character Wanwan. I would love to watch her in a lead role in a series. I also love the portrayal of Saras by Aye Sarunchana Apisamaimongkol. Most of the cast have done justice to their respective characters. There are a few exceptions also. The other cast members are Pearwah Nichaphat Chatchaipholrat, Jan Ployshompoo Supasap, Fah Yongwaree Anilbol, Jamie Juthapich Indrajundra, Lee Thanat Lowkhunsombat and Pluem Purim Rattanaruangwattana.

Bad Aspects

The worst aspect of the series is that the acting of some famous actors was not up to the mark. There was really bad acting from some of them. But it could be overlooked as others were brilliant in their characters.

Should You Watch It?

The revelations in the series were shocking at times. Especially the final revelation, I did not see that coming at all. I loved the series very much. And I would recommend everyone to watch this series.
