Namgoong Min as a Quirky Lawyer: One Dollar Lawyer Trailer Talk

Source: SBS Drama YouTube Channel

The trailer of SBS’s upcoming K-drama One Dollar Lawyer is dominated by the very charismatic Namgoong Min who plays a quirky lawyer. The actor is an unusual lawyer in the drama, who charges only $1 (1000 won) from his clients and helps them in any kind of difficult situation. He is also unusually skilled and goes against some of the big shots and lawyers.

The trailer shows the actor, dressed in a suit with a neat and stylish perm. The forty four seconds long trailer gives away the vibe of a comedy. But this is a legal drama, so the trailer might just be a creative decision. We can surely hope that there definitely will be an enormous amount of humor and drama.

Namgoong Min is one of the most versatile Korean actors who brings something different to the table every single time. Despite the genre of One Dollar Lawyer, audiences can always expect the best from the actor. Moreover, the screenplay of the drama written by  Choi Soo Jin and Choi Chang Hwan is said to have won the Grand Prize at 2015 SBS screenplay contest.

Kim Ji Eun (who is joining Namgoong Min after The Veil) will be seen playing an important role opposite Namgoong Min. She plays the role of a prosecutor’s assistant here. The only thing that bothered me in the trailer was that she was hardly there. The rest of the cast includes Choi Dae Hoon, Lee Deok Hwa and so on.

One Dollar Lawyer will hit the small screens on September 23.
