Kdrama Good Job Episode 1 Review
An investigative story which has mystery, romance and comedy. The episode 1 of Kdrama Good Job shows huge potential.
Episode 1 of ‘Good Job’ begins with a story narrated by the protagonist Eun Sun Woo ( Jung Il Woo) about his mother’s cursed necklace which went missing and resurfaced after 20 years. This necklace known as Queen’s tears was gifted to his mother by his father. Eun Sun Woo is now the chairman of a high tech company. He also does his own investigation to find out how the necklace resurfaced after 20 years. There is a traumatic backstory of Eun Sun Woo which involves his mother’s death. Eun So Woo has a companion who is a lawyer and a partner in his all crimes. His name is Eum Moon Suk.
Don Se Ra is a young woman who does multiple jobs to make her living. She has a younger sister who is currently in orphanage. She is trying so hard to make a lot of money to have better living conditions for her and her sister. Yet, she is not any ordinary woman. She has a secret super power which she uses for her own benefits.
The series is not just an investigative thriller. It also has comedy and romance. There are a lot of hilarious moments in the first episode itself. The combination scenes of Eun So Woo and Eum Moon Suk are hysterical. Don Se Ra also has her share of funny scenes in the first episode. The chasing sequence between Eun So Woo and Don Se Ra was an uproarious comedy sequence. There is also room for an interesting romantic story in the series. We might get to see the romance in the coming episodes.
The series is a must-watch for all Kdrama fans. I am sure that anyone who would enjoy watching comedy and romantic comedy would like this one too.
