Kdrama “Under the Queen’s Umbrella” trailer portrays the journey of a queen to redeem her rowdy sons to become the real crown prince. None of the sons have the ability to take the Position of the King. The queen takes the power into her hands to rejuvenate her sons. And try to make them qualified enough to be the next King. However, the enemies are plotting to snatch the throne from her sons. How far the queen would go to protect her sons and the throne?
Under The Queen’s Umbrella is written by Park Ba Ra and directed by Kim Hyung Shik. Kim Hye Soo plays the queen who is not known for her politeness but for being disagreeable and short tempered. Kim Hae Sook, Choi Won Young, Kim Eui Sung, Moon Sang Min, Chani and Ok Ja Yeon also play the major characters among others
I look forward to Kim Hye Soo (known for her portrayal of strong women characters) playing the queen who does not fit into any stereotype of how a queen should behave. I was mind blown by her performance in Juvenile Justice.
Under The Queen’s Umbrella airs on Netflix on October 15. I hope this drama is really worth the wait.
