Midnight Motel: Trailer Talk

Midnight Motel is an upcoming crime series of the compilation ‘Midnight series’ by GMMTV starring Off, Jan, Mond and Louis. It is written by Pass Patthanakumjon and directed by Momo Athip Vichuchaianan.

Mote (Off Jumpol Adulkittiporn) and Kat (Jan Ployshompoo Supasap) were born into poor families with a lot of debt. To improve their financial positions they are destined to take shortcuts. Kat becomes a sex worker to make money. She used to work for Sun (Mond) and he is a dangerous guy for sure. Mote and Doy (Louis) owe a gambling company 10 million Bhat. Mote, Kat and Doy join together and decide to start a love motel to become rich. They start an app called ‘Takkrub’ meaning ‘Hi, there’ to connect rich people with sex workers. Later there is an unexpected turn of events which led them to be a part of murder.

The series looks like a dark comedy from the trailer. I also has the elements to call it a thriller. The lead roles are played by Off Jumpol Adulkittiporn and Jan Ployshompoo Supasap. the supporting cast includes Mond Tanutchai Wijitvongtong, Louis Thanawin Teeraphosukarn and Victor Chatchawit Techarukpong.

Overall, the series looks worth watching due to its interesting plot and brilliant cast. Midnight Motel releases on December 8 at Disney Plus Hotstar.
