Interests of Love is JTBC’s upcoming multi-starrer K-drama starring Moon Ga-young, Yoo Yeon Seok, Geum Sae Rok and Jung Ga Ram. The director of the drama is Jo Young-min who is famous for Do You Like Brahms? The writers are Lee Hyun Jung and Lee Seo Hyun. So, here are my thoughts on the trailers of Interests of Love.
Director Jo Young-min stays true to his previous making style which he employed in Do You Like Brahms? as is evident from the trailer. His way of execution is something very unique and soul-baring. There is this very subdued, subtle drama in his film making which hits the right emotions in your heart. That itself is probably going to be the biggest USP of this series.
Moon Ga-young plays a character which we have not previously seen her in. Yoo Yeon-seok definitely shines here too and his multi-character dramas have not disappointed us before (Doctor Romantic, Hospital Playlist, Narco Saints). The rest of the cast also looks promsing.
Do You Like Brahms? dealt with internal struggles of the characters as they are going through their lives and also talked about relationships. Interests of Love probably also has its heart at the same place. Overall, the drama looks very promising.
